The district is bordering North-Korea at the southeast and Russia at the northeast.<br /></strong><br />Some other famous places next to Changchun are Jilin City, with the famous ice-rimed trees along the Songhua River, one of the natural wonders of China; Baicheng, Taonan, Da’an, Fuyu, Jiutai, Dunhua, Yanji, Hunjiang, Tonghua, Baishan, Hailong, Liaoyuan, Siping.</p><p><strong>Some sites</strong></p><p>The Goguryeo sites and tombs found in Ji'an, Jilin, including Wandu, Guknae Seong, and the pyramidal General’s Tomb are part the World Heritage Site of UNESCO.<br /><br />The Baekdu Mountain, especially Heaven Lake on the border with North Korea, is a popular tourist destinations due to the beautiful natural scenery.<br /><br />The Ancient Tombs at Longtou Mountain, including the Mausoleum of Princess Zhenxiao, are royal tombs of the Balhae kingdom.
